On October 20, 2011, YWCA EUC hosted its Empowering Women: Rewriting the Story of Domestic Violence Cocktail Reception at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey.

Guests were entertained by Rashanna Harmon from Best Kept Secrets’ Rise Up Against Domestic Violence music compilation, listened to compelling words from keynote speaker Catherine Weiss, Esq., of Lowenstein Sandler PC, and were touched by the voices of 2 survivors of domestic violence.
