Advocacy

YWCA Eastern Union County has a proud history of advocating on behalf of women’s issues, workers’ rights, health issues, racial justice, and more.  Our history continues into the present, as we partner with YWCA’s around the nation to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

As part of a national organization, we work in collaboration with YWCA’s across New Jersey, NERC (Northeast Regional Council) and the country on specific legislative priorities.  Our 2011 Legislative Priorities are:
